We had a somewhat unique case with a VA loan it was almost impossible to find a home that had no issues for the appraisal and was still in my price range. I also had very little liquid cash to come out of pocket with. We had even removed ourselves from the market period after my loan was disapproved, the loan officer at the other company approved me for 50k more than the underwriter or VA would allow. Lamar reached back out to us and my wife was eager to buy a home, I was last year, but after all the set backs, I was not really ready to throw us back in to this. Lamar showed us beautiful homes that we could afford, set us up with Jeff Merrill a local lender who sat down with me and showed me all the numbers. both of them contacted me every other day until the deal was done. Lamar is a very reliable person and handled everything for me from home inspections to appraisal to getting all the documents taken care of. It was Lamar's persistence with no pressure attitude that got me back to looking at homes and it was that same persistence that pushed this house through closing. In the end, he approached all of his work humbly and denied he did anything, that the listing agent was the one who put it all together, and that maybe partially true, but buying a house takes 2 parties and if was not for Lamar Leathers I would not have been there. I think that on its own says a lot about his ability as a realtor.
